Mode of Examination

The Paper-1 (B.E./B. Tech.) (described below) of JEE(Main)will be conducted in two separate modes i.e. Offline (Pen and Paper Based Examination) mode and Online (Computer Based Examination) mode. The Paper-2 (B. Arch./B. Planning.) of JEE (Main) will be conducted only in Pen and Paper based examination mode. A candidate will opt for either Pen and Paper Based or Computer Based examination modes for Paper-1 (B. E./B. Tech.) only.

Type of Examination

JEE (Main) –2018 shall have two papers, Paper-1 (B. E./B. Tech.) and Paper-2 (B. Arch./B. Planning.). Candidates may take Paper-1 (B. E./B. Tech.), or Paper-2 (B. Arch./B. Planning.), or both as per the course(s) they are seeking admission to. Subject combinations for each paper, type of questions in each paper and mode of examination available is given in the table below.

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is set conduct the IBPS Clerk Exam 2017-18 at two levels; Preliminary and Main. Online Registration for preliminary exam starts from September 12, 2017 (Tuesday). Keep in mind that the last date to apply online is October 03, 2017 (Tuesday). The prelim exam is taking place in the first week of December 2017 i.e. 2nd, 3rd, 9th and 10th and the Main on January 21, 2018. The IBPS conducts these exams every year to recruit the capable candidates for clerical posts in the banks (Participating Organizations) that participate in this recruitment program. Those students who score minimum qualifying marks in the prelim become eligible for the Main exam.

Running Away From Your Problems Is A Race You’ll Never Win……

In March of 1987, Eamon Coughlan was running in a qualifying heat at the World Indoor Track Championship in Indianapolis. The Irishman was the reigning world record – holder at fifteen hundred meter, and he was favored to win the race easily. Unfortunately, with two and a half laps left to run, he was tripped and fell hard. Even so, he got up, and with great effort, he managed to catch the race leaders. With only twenty yards to go, he was in third place, which would have been good enough to qualify for the final race.

Then Couglan looked over his shoulder to the inside. Seeing no one there, he relaxed his effort slightly. What he hadn’t noticed, however, was that a runner was charging hard on the outside. This runner passed Couglan just a year before the finish line, thus eliminating him from the finals.

Coughlan’s great comeback effort ended up being worthless for one and only one reason: he momentarily took his eyes off the finish line and focused on the would – be competitors instead.

One of the most important factors in reaching your goals in life is to have single – minded focus. Don’t let yourself become distracted by what others do or say. Run your race to win!!
