National Aptitude Test in Architecture(NATA) Exam Information

Eligibilty Criteria

Candidates may come from the following backgrounds:

• 10+2 or equivalent passed/appearing with Mathematics as one of the subjects of examination
• 10+3 Diploma (any stream) passed/appearing recognised by Central/State Government with Mathematics as one of the subjects of examination
• International Baccalaureate Diploma passed/appearing, after 10 years of schooling with Mathematics as a compulsory subject of examination

Things to keep ready before filling the NATA 2018 application form

• Attested copy of class X marksheet
• Scanned passport size recent color photograph
• Scanned digital signature to be uploaded online
• Valid photo identity proof with signature of the candidate

How to fill NATA application form 2018?

Candidates are required to follow the steps mentioned below to fill the application form of NATA 2018 correctly.

Step 1: Registration

Candidates will have to fill the following necessary details in the application form of NATA 2018.
Click on Register Now button and enter the following details.

Personal Details:

• Select Salutation (Mr./Mrs.)
• Enter First Name
• Enter Last Name
• Select Gender
• Enter email ID
• Create/Enter Login ID
• Enter and confirm Password
• Enter Mobile Number
• Enter valid date of birth
• Select State
• Select City

Upon successful registration, log-in ID would be created.

Step 2: Log-in to fill NATA Application Form

Log-in to the NATA application portal again with the log-in details and click on Apply Now button. The application form will have the following sections.

Personal Information

• Enter your Full Name
• Enter Father's Name
• Enter Mother's Name
• Enter Date of Birth
• Select gender
• Select Reservation Category/PwD status (If required)  
• Select Place of Residence 
• Select Nationality 
• Enter Aadhaar Number (Mandatory)
• If you have applied for JEE Main 2018 Paper II (Yes/No)
• If yes, enter application number of JEE Main 2018

Communication Details

• Enter Complete House Address
• Select State of Domicile
• District of Domicile
• Enter PIN code
• Enter Email Id
• Confirm Email ID
• Mobile no
• Confirm Mobile Number
• Land line no

Choose Exam Centres
The candidate can select maximum 3 exam states and cities in the order of preference from the drop down menu.

Step 3: Uploading of images

Candidates will have to upload the images of the following documents in jpg/ jpeg format:

• Recent color passport size photograph
• Signature
• Category Certificate (in case of SC/ST candidates only)

Preview: Click on Preview button and check all the details entered by you carefully before submitting it. After preview/review submit the application form. No changes can be done after the application submission. An application number of 7 digits will be generated. Candidates must keep this application number with them. It has to be noted down along with password and security question and answer as these are important logins for subsequent logins to upload images and submit fees. It is to be noted that submission of a duplicate form by any candidate with same name, father name, mother name and date of birth is not possible.

Step 4: Payment of application fee

After application submission, the candidates will be directed to fee payment. Candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs 1800 (Rs. 1500 in case of SC/ST candidates). The payment has to be made online using credit card/debit card/net banking. Service charges are included in the fee mentioned above.

Steps to make payment through Electronic Payment Gateway (EPG):

• After paying the application fee through electronic payment gateway via debit card, credit card or net banking, the candidates will be directed to the home page wherein they can check the payment status.
• A confirmation page will be automatically generated upon successful payment of application fee.

Confirmation Page

• Candidates must take printout of the confirmation page which means that the candidate's application form has been successfully submitted.
• Candidate are advised to take a printout of the confirmation page and preserve it for future reference.

NATA Application Form Correction 2018

The exam conducting authority, COA do not entertain any correction once the candidate submits the NATA 2018 application form. Therefore, while filling the application form of NATA 2018, candidates are expected to fill all details correctly and do check the form before submitting it. However, in rare circumstances where mistakes are really major and need to be rectified immediately, in such cases, authorities might entertain the correction or any discrepancy in the application form on a request by the candidate through e-mail. What candidates need to keep in mind is that they need to request for correction before the issue of NATA 2018 admit card. Therefore, it is suggested to the candidates to request for correction as soon as they find the discrepancy in the application form.

What details might be corrected in NATA Application Form 2018

Mentioned below mistakes might be corrected by the authorities:

• Uploaded wrong documents or Photograph
• Entered wrong spelling of his/her or parents name
• Entered wrong Aadhaar details
• Entered wrong class 11 and 12 roll number

How To Correct Discrepancy In NATA 2018 Application Form

• If a candidate commits major mistakes like- uploaded incorrect documents or photograph, entered the wrong spelling of his/her name etc. In such cases, the candidate needs to write a mail to the officials at nata2018helpdesk@gmail.com requesting them to make the necessary correction in the application form.
• Along with the mail, candidates need to send documented proof and a photocopy of the NATA 2018 application form.
• If the authorities find that discrepancy is genuine, they might make the corrections in the NATA application form 2018.
